Developing Options, Inc. is a non-profit organization that began in 2004 to give the youth of the 77th I GRYD Zone in Los Angeles, CA choices beyond the gang violence, drug, and crime through: advocacy, education, resources, training and development and sports.

Its incipience began in prison with one individual who wanted to provide the youth of his neighborhood with alternative activities and nurturing support that he did not have growing up. Since then, the program has expanded to encompass more than just sports and education, serving over 6,000 people, and establishing hundreds of partnerships with other agencies to provide our clients with a comprehensive collection of individualized services, ranging from health care to food access.
